RESEARCH ACCESS POLICY
Accountable access.
Legitimate research.
Policy version 2026-10-25
Cadastre makes its code, schemas, and source index public. Access to restricted specimens and research deliveries requires organizational review, domain control, and an explicit attestation.
The attestation
I am authorized to act for the named legal entity. I will use Cadastre references only for legitimate identity verification, document research, or fraud prevention. I will not use them to create, alter, reproduce, or facilitate counterfeit identity documents; impersonate a person or organization; bypass identity controls; or redistribute restricted specimens. I understand that public specimen geometry is not a calibrated physical master and that observations do not independently establish authenticity. Access requires domain proof and manual review of both the entity and my authority. Access may expire or be revoked, and deliveries carry removable attribution receipts for audit purposes.
What access means
A request begins in pending review. Demonstrating domain control establishes control of a domain; it does not establish an organization’s legal identity, an applicant’s authority, or eligibility. Organization and authority review are separate requirements.
Research limits
Extracted specimens, normalized geometry, crop proposals, and source observations are reference research. They do not independently establish the authenticity of a presented document, the completeness of a jurisdiction’s design coverage, or calibrated physical measurements.
Current policy
The application shows the current policy before submission. Your request records its version and an attestation receipt. The machine-readable current policy is available at /v1/policy.
